Consensus Information & FAQ Page
What is The Consensus?
The Consensus is dedicated to finding, reviewing and reporting upon musical excellence. We
ask Artists (of all genres) to allow us to listen to and review their work. Every song that we
analyse is heard by at least 5 different members of our team, and each opinion is
made in complete isolation (ie, the reviewers have no knowledge of what the other reviewers
have said). We feel that using this approach removes bias and makes our scores more decisive.
I am an artist and I want to submit my work. How do I do it?
That's easy. Simply click the 'sign up' button on the menu above. If you can't find it
then click here.
I want to contribute my opinions to The Consensus. How do I do it?
You've made a good choice! This site is all about having fun so click the 'sign up' button on menu above.
If you can't find it then click here.
I hate The Consensus and I want to make a complaint! What do i do?
Well join the team of course! We need to convert your hatred into
positive reviewing energy. It was written in the Journal of Scientific Proof that reviewing
for us will make you feel better and raise your I.Q.
Do you know for a fact that reviewing for The Consensus raises I.Q.?
No.
If I sign up as a reviewer, how much time do I have to spend reviewing?
You can do absolutely nothing if that tickles your fancy, but if you're actually wanting
to help then it only takes 10 minutes to listen to a song a few times and then lodge your
opinion for it. You may however find yourself getting addicted to this site, in which case
you might as well go and buy a 12 months supply of chocolate, chips, candy and coke and get
ready for the best year you've ever had.
How do I contact the Consensus?
You cannot email the consensus team directly at this time, although you can email the site
founder, Andy Chapman, via nycran at godsofmusic dot com.
